Oman-based ad agency TBWA/Zeenah recently hired nine new executives from around the world.
 
Ian Butlin will oversee the development of the account management department as account director. He previously worked for several advertising and promotions agencies including KLP Euro, RSCG and the Marketing Store Worldwide. Butlin also served as the marketing director for the Hilton and Accor hotels and the English National Ballet.  
 
Adam Byars and Melodi Marx join TBWA/Zeenah as account directors on the agency’s automotive accounts. Both have worked for G2 Global in South Africa.
 
Jacqueline Zivkovic is also an account director. Zivkovic has 13 years of international brand building experience for consumer electronic, FMCG and telecommunication brands. Her previous employers include Leo Burnett Worldwide and Grey MENA.
 
Henriette Thomas, who previously worked as operations manager at HLKM in South Africa, is the new traffic controller.
 
Sherrin Davie, a journalist from South Africa and the UAE, is the new PR manager for TBWA/Zeenah.
 
Matt Horobin heads the company’s new strategic planning department. He was a UK-based brand consultant for FMCG clients including Unilever, Bacardi-Martini and Coca-Cola.
 
Elizabeth Davis has become the planning and development manager. Previously, she worked for the Desert Group and Coca-Cola companies in the UAE.
 
Liz Foley is the new event manager. She was most recently an event manager for the even organizing agency Absolute in Ireland.
