Arabian Business Machine Ltd (ABM), Apple’s representative in the Middle East, has invited pitches from five agencies for their advertising, media and below-the-line accounts. The brand’s advertising is currently handled by Intermarkets while the media duties are with Mediaedge CIA.

The five agencies, BPG, Lowe MENA, Memac Ogilvy, Tonic and Euro RSCG, were sent the brief through a video on an iPod Shuffle. “They have three weeks to come up with a presentation which they should start presenting by the end of this month,” says Nathalie Khouri, senior marketing coordinator at ABM.

Intermarkets has also been invited to pitch as part of standard procedure. Just BTL, a below-the-line agency has also been approached.
