Entertainment and media conglomerate Abu Dhabi Media Companyappointed Walt Disney veteran Edward Borgerding as its CEO, the company says.

Borgerding will take responsibility in his new role for company brands that include women’s magazine Zahrat Al Khaleej, Al Ittihad newspaper and a suite of TV and radio channels including Abu Dhabi TV and Emarat FM.

He will also oversee the launch of Abu Dhabi’s first English language newspaper next month.
