Sabaho, the new radio morning show from STAR FM, is being hailed as the model show among UAE’s radio audiences. A blend of entertainment, fun and plenty other lifestyle topics, listener call-ins, guests and the latest Arabic and English music hits, Sabaho cheers you up, makes you think and interact, all at the same time! It’s exactly what listeners need for the morning drive!

Airing week days, Sunday to Thursday, from 7:00 to 10:00am, Sabaho continues STAR FM’s tradition of engaging, lively and fresh programming, with a distinct voice.

The show is co-hosted by Rania Younes and Hassan Al Sheikh, two young, exceptionally talented and seasoned radio jockeys (RJs). The show's open format is lively and bold, and allows listeners to feel part of their conversation and inner circle.

“I think we have something to add to the morning groove,” says Rania, who has deep experience as a presenter in Lebanon, Syria and Kuwait. She’s the one who keeps listeners tuned in with her enlightening tips on travel, books, movies and fashion, while Hassan, who also moonlights as a TV presenter in his spare time, is the avid entertainment, gaming and IT aficionado. The music play-list reflects Sabaho's diverse audience's tastes and includes international artists such as Beyoncé and Lady Gaga, and Arabic popstars such as Nancy Ajram, Wael Kfouri, Tamer Hosni and many more.

Sabaho is the brainchild of Farid Antoun, Head of STAR FM. He stumbled upon the idea of a morning talk show that would entertain a diverse, adult, sophisticated audience, showcasing the cultural diversity of the UAE and providing something truly different to radio listeners.

The show has garnered tremendous audience support, causing everyone in the industry, partners and advertising sponsors to take notice. The Sabaho teamis visibly delighted with the results, as the show is set to become STAR FM's flagship programme.

“Although STAR FM is relatively new, we aim to lead the market by producing, innovative content that enables our audiences to hear a different voice, and by bringing new cultural perspectives to the public airwaves,” concluded Farid.

STAR FM has also recently introduced a new daily feature, STAR DJ, that runs between 6am and midnight, giving listeners the chance to become a national DJ for a moment and introduce their favorite songs on radio.

STAR FM broadcasts in Abu Dhabi on 92.4, in Dubai on 99.9 and in Al Ain on 100.1FM. Fans can follow Sabaho via the STAR FM Facebook page, ‘STAR FM UAE’, or download widgets from the website www.starfm.ae <http://www.starfm.ae>
