A promotional film for the Peace Through Sport foundation, created by Promoseven Beirut, has won the Special Award and the Guirland d’Honneur at the FICTS (Fédération Internationale Cinéma Télévision Sportifs) sports film festival in Milan.

The one-minute movie shows soldiers passing a baton to children as the scenery changes from the ruins of a war-torn city to a calm beach, was created by FP7 Beirut for the Amman-based initiative.

Prince Feisal of Jordan, the chairman and founder of Peace Through Sport, collected the awards in person. He thanked Daniel Georr and Zeina Baysal from Promoseven Lebanon, and Ghassan Koteit and Intaj Production House Lebanon for their work on the film.

The film won from a pool of 900, from 120 countries.
