Adwomen ME, now a community of over 200 communications-enthused ladies, has held its second successful monthly meeting. Members convened at underground hotspot Shelter in Dubai for Trend Talks part 2. The topic “Dirty Sexy Downturn” was headed by Julia Foster, director of business development at TBWA/Raad. The session focused on how brands have innovated during times of crisis to emerge stronger.

“Trend Talks is the equivalent of a five course meal for an otherwise conversation-starved communications expert living in the UAE,” says Preethi Mariappan, founder of Adwomen ME. “Although the concept is only two months old in this region, it is being picked up very fast by communications passionistas. I am already looking forward to kicking back on a bean bag and joining in for the next Trend Talks at the end of May.”
